Jai Ram Kaur's 9 year long journey to find the treasures she knew were out there took her from Perth to India to Berlin and back again to Perth. Leaving alone on a one way ticket in 2000 she returned to Perth in 2009 in the company of her deeper self, her husband Beant and their 3 then small children. The other treasures she carried were the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and Karam Kriya, along with a commitment to share them.

Jai Ram is in awe of and has total faith in that something bigger than us all that takes infinite forms and unfolds perfectly through all the apparent imperfections of this human journey. Through Kundalini Yoga teachings and the deep listening that number awareness provides, Jai Ram's longing is to serve the authentic self on its journey to self fulfillment.

She has specialised in women's teachings, pregnancy and postnatal yoga (www.smallblessingsyoga.com.au), is a certified Karam Kriya Consultant and Kundalini Yoga teacher (www.jairam.com.au) and is on the journey of becoming teacher trainer. She is co-founder of Karam Kriya School Australia.

In 2007 Jai Inder came across ‘Let the Numbers Guide You’ written by Shiv Charan Singh. She sat in an uncomfortable chair to browse through it, only to place it down 4am the following morning.

Jai Inder continues to be inspired by the healing capacity of Karam Kriya and Kundalini Yoga. As a paediatric registered nurse she often witnesses the wisdom of the numbers transform a vulnerable moment of fear and confusion into clarity and courage. She also found this to be true with her own experience of cancer.

A dedicated student of consciousness, Jai Inder is inspiring in her courage to walk the path of destiny. She is training to become a Karam Kriya Consultant and a Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer, and passes her knowledge and insights through classes, workshops and consultations.

Shiv Charan Singh, an unassuming and authentic spiritual teacher, Scottish by birth, is the founding director of the International Karam Kriya School (1996). Karam Kriya means ‘Total action through which our karma is brought to completion though application of spiritual consciousness guided by the intelligence of numbers’. Karam Kriya is the name given to this approach by Yogi Bhajan, who himself laid out the basis for it with Tantric Numerology and said that he would come to teach this all around the world, which he does.

As a renowned teacher of Kundalini Yoga (since 1980) and a Lead Teacher Trainer for the KRI accredited Kundalini Yoga Aquarian Teacher Training Level I & Level II, Shiv Charan Singh mentors training programmes worldwide. In the year 2000, he founded, along with his wife Satya Kaur, the vibrant and cosmopolitan Kriya Centre in London. And in 2007 he relocated to Portugal where he co-founded the Quinta do Rajo Ashram, a retreat centre and home base for the International Karam Kriya School.

Shiv Charan Singh is neither self seeking nor political in his teachings. He is entertaining and both charismatic and humble in the way he speaks. Above all, his warmth and compassion have generated a community spirit at the school which reaches out to the community regardless of age and background, and attracts people from all over the world. Karam Kriya School now has branches internationally, established by long term committed students of Shiv Charan. The Australian branch is one such example.
